Due to increasing demand an additional twenty vehicles joined the John Miller Limited fleet on 1st September. This includes six Mercedes Actros Long Space vehicles with ultra light cabs and dolly wheels for a major fuel distribution client based at our Ellesmere Port depot. also, ten new Mercedes Actros Big Space vehicles for our general haulage fleet working out of Lockerbie, Stoke on Trent and Coatbridge.  A new Mercedes Arocs wagon and drag combination and three Scania G440 tractor units join our Timber division, equipped with Bigfoot CTI systems.

A significant increase of haulage for a major client has resulted in John Miller Limited increasing our tanker fleet by a further 6 tractor units and road barrels. These will be based at a new depot in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting new extension for the company which has seen our tanker fleet grown and expand since its introduction in 2008.

November 2013 saw the opening of John Miller Limited’s purpose built timber haulage depot. Ideally situated at Abercromby Industrial Estate, Castle Douglas the new site will provide a home for our 30 strong timber fleet after years of working out of Kenmuir Sawmill, Dalbeattie. With brand new diesel, AdBlue and wash facilities on site the drivers have settled in well.
